CDTC Sunflowers is an all-volunteer group of dedicated individuals who brighten the lives of children and their families through supporting the mission of Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center. Their website was in need of an update and looking for added functions to help their support for the children of CDTC.
PROBLEM:
- Dated style
- Easier payments set up for accepting online donations, memberships, and registrations
- Sharing events photos and charitable donations and fundraising efforts to support the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center (CDTC)
SOLUTION:
- New WordPress website with a responsive theme.
- Added online payment and donation forms.
- Added an events calendar with events pages for volunteer and attendee registrations.
- Newsletter sign up on the website.
- Registration to Join as a Member on the website.
- Added MembershipWorks as the solution to handle event registration, donations and membership.
RESULTS:
Professional website with the ability to accept payments for all of the functions needed for the nonprofit.
Additional side effect: New logo to match the design of the website.
2020 Update:
Unfortunately due to the pandemic, the CDTC Sunflowers decided it was time to close. The majority of their fundraising was for in person events.
