Graciela Valdes Fine Art Photography has a largely popular photography business focusing on boudoir and branding located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is extremely passionate in her business and community charitable efforts that led to her win of the Small Business Person of the Year, 2018, from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
PROBLEM:
Slow loading website that was cumbersome and hard to update how she wanted it.
Graciela’s hesitation to start a new website was based largely on the thoughts of how overwhelming and time consuming (and expensive) it was going to be to go through all the content and get everything re-organized.
A broken website that did not load or show her work.
ACTION & SOLUTION:
Working with Graciela to find what platform would be best for her business was the first step. She needed a fast loading website to feature all of her photography and she wanted to be able to easily maintain the website herself and handoff updates to her virtual assistant. I decided it was best to switch from WordPress to Squarespace for the ease of use that she was looking for.
Other additions: Acuity Scheduling setup and integration on the website for easy appointments.
A responsive and fast loading website on a new platform that created ease to maintain and showcased her work.
