My Top 15 Phone Apps

About, Apps, Recommendation, Resources, Tools

Want to know what apps are on my phone that I use every day?  Here are the top 15 and a few extras:
(Remember all apps described below are for android.)

  1. G-Suite* –  Of course, Gmail and all things google!  My most used apps are Gmail and google calendar. (other than my alarm clock)
  2. First 5 – Daily devotional for Women
  3. Focus At Will* – Music to help you concentrate
  4. Smart Recorder – Records whatever you say.
  5. Pandora, Amazon Music, Spotify – You may have your fav but I use them all
  6. Amazon Kindle (App for android) – I truly love real books that I hold but sometimes you have to get the kindle version.  I actually read books faster on the phone since it’s always with me.  Trick: You are stuck at the doctors’ office, early to a meeting, etc… Instead of immediately opening your email or social apps, read your book!
  7. YouTube – Inspirational videos, need to know how to do anything its there.  I also like to use the share screen function on my phone to listen to music videos and watch workouts on the TV.
  8. All social apps – I have them all because that’s what I do but you definitely should have the apps that you use for your business on your phone. I have Facebook, FB Groups, FB Pages Manager, FB Messenger, FB Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
  9. Trello and Asana – Yes both.  You can find out how to use Trello on the blog HERE
  10. Any.do – The best to do list app. Why? Because it reminds me and I can snooze the reminder or check off that it’s done.
  11. ClearFocus (Or any Pomodoro clock app) – Find out more about the Pomodoro technique here
    • StayOn Task – Helps you stay on task by randomly checking to see if you are working or not.
  12. Evernote* – In my opinion, everyone should have this by know. Especially the paid version. So many things to use it for!
  13. DropBox* – Auto backup your phone’s pictures.  And save everything else in the cloud to access from all your devices.
  14. LastPass* – Password security in one place.  Get this now or one like it. Major time saver!
  15. Night Mode (Blue Light Filter) – Stop staring at your bright phone before bed!  (Also get f.lux for your computer)

Business apps:
FastScanner – Snap pictures of documents to create PDF’s to email.
Skype/Zoom/Go To Webinar – You gotta talk to people, right?
Voxer – The walkie talkie meets voicemail-style of communication.

Personal apps:
