I always had emails in my inbox sitting there and I would receive more and more pushing them to the bottom of the list. Until I decided to change my ways and set up a system for handling email. Here are a few steps to help you Control your Inbox:
-Create folders for specific actions, clients, receipts, etc. Using Gmail or Outlook you can create labels, filters or rules depending on the system you use. If you have regular emails that you don’t need to see, create a filter/rule to have that email go directly to a folder and never see it in your inbox.
-Create email templates or canned responses. If you are contacted about a certain issue over and over, create a blanket response that can easily be used with a few tweaks. This will save you time when responding to requests.
